But, we go a step further and try to develop our products by measuring and setting goals in numbers. A common industry-driven approach is using a key performance indicator (KPI) for measuring the success or failure in certain areas of your business. If you’re running a website, common KPIs you might already be using are unique visitors per month, conversions, page views and the like.
